CAIRNS CRUISE MOORING ASSESSMENT
Mooring analysis of cruise ships to be moored at the upgraded Cairns Wharf 1-6 for Ports North. The mooring assessment used proprietary software Optimoor to indicate approximate mooring line and bollard loads and fender reactions for Spirit Class and Voyager Class cruise ships with Loa of up to 294m and 311m respectively taking into account local exposure to winds, currents and waves.
