At Station Pier the Spirit of Tasmania is supported at the bow by a berthing structure for dual level Ro-Ro operations. The 40 tonne bow fender structure and the supporting compression structures were completely rehabilitated to extend their design life. The scope of services included condition assessment of the berthing structure above and below water, design of damage and deterioration repairs, fabrication review and QA, supervision, and overall project and construction management.
