Planning, detailed design, tender documentation, construction cost estimates and technical advice during construction of redevelopment of existing multipurpose terminal area for Rubber Tyred Gantry Crane (RTGC) operations. The scope of works included regrading and stormwater drainage, ground improvement, new heavy-duty pavements, reinforced concrete RTGC runways and container stack footings. The site ground conditions were challenging with the presence of isolated lenses of compressible materials beneath existing fill material requiring careful design and documentation of ground improvements, pavements and foundations.
