AWD and LHD Ship Sustainment Facilities Project, Garden Island
Detailed mooring assessment of Landing Helicopter Dock (LHD) vessel at Fleet Base East 1 (FBE 1) and Fleet Base East 2 and 3 (FBE 2-3) at Garden Island Sydney. Services for the project involved detailed design of fender modifications and mooring systems to berth and moor the new LHD vessels at these berths for long term and interim cases. Works involved construction of piled strong points within the footprint of the wharves to support new storm bollards.
