My background

Andrew has over 38 years of professional experience in Australasia, UK, Middle East, SE Asia and Central America with over 35 years involvement in planning, design and construction supervision of coastal and maritime facilities. This has included a broad range of projects including port feasibility studies and designs of container terminals, break bulk, dry bulk and bulk liquid facilities, cruise terminals, ferry terminals, Ro-Ro facilities and naval facilities.

Andrew also has extensive experience in projects involving dredging and reclamation, ground treatment, civil works and pavements, piers, seawalls, breakwaters, and navigation channels. He also has specialist skills in marine structures, berthing and mooring assessments and ship impact protection.

Andrew’s experience includes leading the detailed design and documentation of marine structures for CT9, 10 and 11 and the marine works for the HK Convention Centre Extension and the Second Container Terminal in Chennai, India.

Andrew was also a key member in other various major HK projects including South East Tsing Yi Feasibility Study, Ma Wan Development, South East Kowloon Feasibility Study, Infrastructure for Penny’s Bay Development for HK Disney Theme Park, Kowloon Bay Development, Wan Chai Development Phase I and II and Kai Tak Cruise Terminal.
